Quality of Work - Integrity of Word
Heartland Foundation Repair of Kansas City is a certified installer of Magnum Push Piers. Magnum's reputation for quality American made Steel and stabilization products is unsurpassed. They are the American Standard for Quality meeting all national standards.
Magnum Push Piers are 3" steel tubes, are hydraulically driven using a ram to drive the tubes to what is technically called “Resistance and Lock Off” so your house will settle (go down) no more. These tubes are attached to the footing of your house with a large bracket so that we can stabilize or lift a wall if needed.
Heartland Foundation Repair of Kansas City will install piers on standard poured concrete walls, concrete block walls, or slab foundations using brackets especially made for those different applications.
Your original pier and beam foundation cannot guarantee your house’s levelness and stability long-term. The foundation and soil conditions may cause your floor to settle over time.
Assign your pier and beam foundation repair to Heartland Foundation Repair of Kansas City, the foundation service experts in Kansas City, and surrounding areas. We have a proven track record in the installation and repair of all types of foundations, besides excellent customer service, and on-time delivery.
There are two types of pier and beam foundations – one with a concrete grade beam around the perimeter and the other without it. A house with a concrete grade beam can be lifted using concrete or steel pressed pilings.
The floors of a house typically sit on 6" x 6" beams that are supported by piers usually composed of poured concrete, prefabricated concrete blocks, or Bois d'Arc stumps.
We can adjust floor levels by raising the beam and adding or removing steel shims. We add or replace piers when they have failed. We check the condition of the wood in the crawl space under the pier and beam foundation and replace it when it is damaged from moisture or insects. To keep the crawl space in the pier and beam system dry, we can seal any outdated air vents and encapsulate the entire area with a 12-20 ml vinyl membrane. If water control is required we add sump pump systems. This will profoundly improve the air quality of your living space and eliminate mold and mildew smells.
